About the neighborhood
Wild Air is a master-planned community from Old Town Companies on about 260 acres of the former Wild Air Farm, along Marysville Road at West Oak Street about 2.5 miles west of downtown Zionsville. The town approved it as a PUD with its own economic development area. The plan calls for roughly 700 residences: 386 single-family homes, 290 apartments, senior living, and a small retail center, plus a clubhouse, trails, about 30 acres of preserved woodland, and Crossbridge Point, roughly 20 homes for adults with developmental disabilities built with ILADD. Homes come from five builders: Old Town Design Group, David Weekley Homes, G&G Custom Homes, Gradison Design-Build, and Wedgewood Building Company. Construction began in 2024; the first homes finish in fall 2026, when Wild Air hosts the Home-A-Rama show. The community is in Zionsville Community Schools territory. The assessor has not yet valued individual homes here, so home counts, assessed values, and recorded sale prices are not shown yet; they will fill in as county records catch up.
